Illini Robotics is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes STEM education in the Champaign - Urbana metro area and neighboring communities through support of various programs in the area. 

One main role of Illini Robotics is to manage funding for competitive robotics teams including FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 12971 Ctrl-Y, FTC Team 15042 Ctrl-X and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 4096 Ctrl-Z and Team 11173 STAR FORCE. Illini Robotics also supports FIRST LEGO League (FLL) regional qualifiers, state tournaments, and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) tournaments held in the Champaign - Urbana area.
